PROACT AU and NZ has merged with The Device Technologies group
We are very pleased to be able to announce that PROACT Medical Systems (Australia and New Zealand) have merged their business with the Device Technologies Group as of Mid 2009.
Device Technologies are the largest independent medical company in Australasia with identical values of providing leading technology medical products, combined with the highest levels of customer support and service. Joining the Device group will allow PROACT to access more investment to fund growth, as well as tap into their extensive resources and experience in terms of marketing, technical service support, IT and customer service assets. These are essential aspects which PROACT will need to support your hospital to the highest levels as we continue to grow in size.
As you probably know, Device Technologies have their own Anaesthetic and Critical Care division. As part of the merger, this division is being combined with PROACT. As of August 2009, PROACT will be the Anaesthesia and Critical Care division for the Device Technologies group.
The benefits for you, the customer, will be the ability to purchase the full range of DTA and PROACT A.C.C. products all from one source. This will allow you to consolidate your orders, which will save on delivery costs and administration time. Also, we will have a much bigger sales support network and customer service resource, which means more support for your hospital.
As from August 2009, all orders for Anaesthetic and Critical Care products from the Device portfolio need to be placed with PROACT.
This includes:
-
BD range of Invasive Transducers
-
South Medic Products
-
Mistral Blankets and Fluido products
-
Pleura Vac Products
-
Vygon Range
-
Metro Carts
The only exception is the Vital Signs range, which will continue to be looked after by the Device Technologies office in Sydney.
We would like to thank all customers for your ongoing support and look forward to being able to offer you major benefits in terms of a wider range, commercial savings and support as a result of this merger.
Please note that PROACT UK and Europe are not included in the merger and are totally separate from Device Technologies.
